The Blogger:
Tay (a.k.a. Tayngerous) is a Junior Film and New media student at the University of Nebraska. She is 20 years old, and hopes to one day be a director/writer for television and film. She has two younger sisters, three dogs at home, and more friends than she cares to count.
The Goal:
To create social change through media. Tay has always enjoyed hearing new and exciting stories. More recently she has realized how few stories there really are about certain types of people: Women, People of Color, and GSRMs (Gender, Sexual, and Romantic Minorities, otherwise known as the LGBTQAI community) and all of those people who intersect within those identities. It is her ultimate goal to increase the media representation of these individuals, be they fictional or historical characters, and to shift the social consciousness towards acceptance and inclusion for everyone.
The Blog:
This blog is to record the ongoing work towards the goal, as well as a somewhat detailed log of Tay's day-to-day (or week-to-week) activities and involvement in various projects and endeavors.
